Nathan Zaugg

Nathan Zaugg is a constant for SolutionStream and leads and designs projects utilizing Microsoft technologies. He has led projects for prestigious clients including Bonneville Communications, Warner Music, and the LDS Church. He has been working exclusively with the .net since version 1.0 and has been consulting for the past 4 years. He obtained his BS in Computer Science at Weber State University and is also a Microsoft Certified Applications Developer and is working toward his Microsoft Certified Professional Developer certification. Nate also actively presents for the local users group (NUNUG) on the latest Microsoft Technologies. http://www.interactiveasp.net/
 

Monte Wingle

Monte Wingle is a self taught software developer with 15 years experience in the computer industry. His career began doing end-user technical support. He obtained his MCSE in Windows NT 4.0 and moved on network design and management. As a Systems Engineer, he obtained Microsoft, Novell, and Cisco certifications. After learning html and configuring a few intranets, he began to write classic ASP and moved into programming. He now has experience doing embedded, web, and desktop development in many languages.
 

Aaron Shafovaloff

Aaron Shafovaloff lives in Midvale, UT, and works for a non-profit ministry based in Colorado Springs. He has spent the last year building an open source Learning Management System scheduled for launch in June.
 

Tjay Belt

TJay Belt is a Database Administrator for the Accounts Payable division of Affiliated Computer Services.He has studied computer science at BYU and developed in and administered databases his entire career.TJay has used SQL Server versions 7, 2000 and 2005 since 1998, and has been a DBA for 4 1/2 years.TJay has enjoyed delivering presentations for Microsoft, Affiliated Computer Services, and local SQL Server User groups.He is the founder and PASS chapter leader of the Utah County SQL Server user group.TJay truly enjoys working with and administering database, and his real passion lies in creating solutions.
 

Craig Berntson

Craig Berntson a Microsoft Certified Solution Developer and has been a Microsoft MVP for over 10 years. He wrote the book “CrysDev: A Developer’s Guide to Integrating Crystal Reports”, available from Hentzenwerke Publishing. He has also written for FoxRockx, FoxTalk and the Visual FoxPro User Group (VFUG) newsletter. He has spoken at various developer events in North America and Europe. Currently, Craig develops hospital software for a Fortune 100 company in Salt Lake City.
 

 

 

Kevin Watson

Kevin Watson is currently a software engineer at 1-800 Contacts. Prior to joining 1-800 Contacts, he was a network administrator at Utah State University. Kevin enjoys writing applications which fulfill unique business needs using Microsoft.NET and SQL Server technologies. Mark Parker

Mark Parker is currently employed at Medicity, Inc. as a developer. He has extensive experience implementing large-scale client, client-server, and web-based applications and systems in C#, the .NET Framework, and Microsoft's SQL Server (2000 and 2005). Self-taught, he started his programming career with C, and quickly moved on to VB4, VB5, VB6, and C#. His interests lie anywhere that undiscovered knowledge could be found.
 

Scott Lewis

Jayson Lewis

Jayson Lewis is a software engineer at STG  in Salt Lake City and has enjoyed a career in software for 7 years. He has a Computer Science degree from "UVU" and enjoys working with software while learning new technologies.
 

Aaron Reed

Aaron Reed is the Associate Vice President of Employer Relations for Neumont University. In this role he has managed over 100 projects with external companies over the past several years. In addition, he teaches or has taught systems design, .NET development, XNA development and other courses at Neumont University. A Microsoft MCAD, Aaron worked in the software development industry for over 12 years prior to joining Neumont. He has written articles for .NET Developer’s Journal and DeveloperDotStar.com. Jamie King

Jamie King graduated Valedictorian from Utah Valley State College/University with a BSCS and AS in Math. He has three years of industrial experience with .NET, and two years teaching at Neumont University. Jamie resides in Riverton. Like many .NET programmers, he finds keeping up with current technologies challenging, and only does so by wrestling with topics for hours on end, usually in the wee hours of the night. Pat Wright

Pat has been a SQL Server DBA for the past 8 years.  He's managed Large Scale deployments of SQL Server and small scale deployments.  He is very active in his community and manages the SLC IT Pro users group(http://www.slcitpro.com/).  He also organizes the Utah Code Camp(http://www.utcodecamp.com/) and blogs every once in a while at http://www.sqlasylum.com/.
 

John Harrison

John Harrison is a co-founder of Insight Industries, a data  visualization and business intelligence solutions provider. Previously he spent 8 years with IBM Global Services as a Senior IT Specialist.  He has a degree in Computer Science from Stanford University.  In his spare time he enjoys dabbling in video game programming.
 

Kevin Kubasik

Kevin Kubasik is a passionate open-source developer, and student at Neumont University. In addition to his role as a member of the Gnome Foundation, and an Ubuntu Developer, Kevin has contributed to,maintained, or patched dozens of popular open source projects including Django, SqlAlchemy, One Laptop Per Child, Mozilla and Mono. He is an experienced C#, Java and Python developer, with a strong working knowledge of objectified C as used in GObject.
 

Joe Mcbride


Joe McBride is a recent graduate from Neumont University and has been interested in Windows Presentation Foundation since he was first introduced to the technology in 2003.  He is currently working as an independent consultant for Veracity Solutions in Midvale.  His blog is xamlcoder.com.

Call for Speakers

Neumont University

Salt Lake City, UT 

Code Camp is a one day free training for all developers of any technologies to attend and learn from there peers and local speakers.  We are looking for Speakers to present at this event.  All topics are open for discussion and all formats.  The sessions would be 45 Minutes long with a 10-15 minute QA time at the end of the session( total 1 hour).  This will be an all day event we plan to go from 9:00-5:00.  You don't need to be present the whole day but we would love to have you around for questions from users or to see the other great content of the code camp. 

We are looking for 100-150 people to attend the code camp.  We will have 3 tracks running all throughout the day(3 sessions going on at once).  There might be a chance to do your presentation twice depending on demand. 

You must bring your own notebook for your presentation. There will be a room on site for speaker prep during the day of the Code Camp.

We are not covering travel or expenses for speakers, but you will receive a great big THANK YOU.  A Cool Polo Shirt also!
